PATHWAYS
From cyber curiosity to
career-ready capability.
|
CTX-HSV is North Alabama’s cybersecurity talent exchange and technical community platform. Led by UAH I²C, CTX-HSV connects learners, practitioners, researchers, and employers through hands-on training, mentorship, technical community engagement, and workforce pathways. The initiative is designed to strengthen North Alabama’s innovation economy by converting cyber curiosity into validated skills, employment opportunities, and long-term regional talent retention.
THE CTX-HSV PATHWAY
Learn
Participants build cyber foundations through workshops, technical talks, and guided learning sessions designed for multiple experience levels.
Connect
CTX-HSV creates visibility for learners and employers through mentor reviews, employer panels, Cyber Talent Exchange events, internships, apprenticeships, project opportunities, and referrals.
Practice
Learners apply skills through Hack The Box cohorts, CTF challenge nights, labs, DC256 practitioner sessions, and hands-on technical exercises.
Retain
CTX-HSV strengthens the local cyber community so students, veterans, career-switchers, and professionals have reasons to stay, grow, teach, recruit, and lead in North Alabama.
Prove
Participants develop portfolio-ready evidence of skills, including lab completions, challenge write-ups, technical summaries, badges, GitHub artifacts, and applied project work.
